Raksha walked along the nice soft sand. She looked around to see if there was anyone near. She slowly walked towards the water. Her skin was getting a bit dry and she hadn't swam with the otters for a while. She slipped off her dress she was wearing and stepped in to the water. She was half covered with water when her legs turned in to her tail. She flicked it hard once and went up in the air before diving in to the water. The cool sweet embrace of the water was heaven. She was maybe six or seven feet underwater. She looked up and stated to pound her tail back and forth hard to get some speed. She burst out of the water and her tail changed in to two legs again. She almost did a front flip but her butt broke the surface instead of her feet.
Her tail was back and she couldn't stop giggling like a little girl. She was 360 years old and she was acting like a child. Sweet. She felt the sea life around her and smiled. The life around her was her one and only love. She thought of love and smiled devilishly. She swam towards shore until she could rest her elbows on the sand and keep her head above the water. Her tail stayed underwater and she started singing. Her mouth never formed any real words more like the music of a wolf's howl, the song of a whale, and the notes only a human could reach mixed together to form a hypnotic melody. If a man was near and he heard her song she was sure he would be drawn to her quickly.

Farkas was walking through the beach on his way to the forest he needed to change he was itching for a good run. When he heard singing. It sounded to beautiful something inside him warned him not to venture forth, but the man inside him couldn't resist the tempting lure. Veering off his course Farkas mad his way to the waters edge. Where he saw a most attractive woman playing in the water.
"oh my, what do we have here?" he asked his voice low and almost gravely. Farkas raking his hand through his hair and some strands fell in his face. his grey shirt was hanging off his body giving the on looker reason to wonder what's under it. But of course being a werewolf Farkas was built like those Greek gods one reads in the fantasy romance novels he's heard about.
Walking ever so closer to the waters edge he was beginning to get a closer look ant whom the singing was coming from. 'just a child' he thought 'can't be more than 18' his mind seemed to clear mostly of the fog that clouded him. "its getting late, child.yuou should go home" there his good deed for the day.

Raksha smiled at the man. She stopped her singing for a bit to answer "Child? I think not." She started her siren's song again. She flipped her tail enough for the man to see the fin on the end of it but not enough for him to see that it was connected to her body. If he freaked out then he was probably human. If not, then he might be a fellow supernatural. She studied him for a reaction of some sort.
"Why would a young man like you be out here all alone at night?" She paused in her singing again. She pushed her elbows forward to get her body further in the water. She started to sing quieter still audible, but barely. No need to overwhelm this poor man with her deadly song. Her singing slowly started to trail off until it ceased completely.
She flicked her eyes past the man and looked at the shore behind him. She saw her dress and was glad she had decided to wear a two piece swimsuit when she got in the water. Her bottoms were a skirt with the leg holes cut out for her tail. A pretty seashell pattern covered the fabric.

A smirk reached his lips when she shot her response back at him. "Why am i out here?" He took a few stepps closer to the waters edge, looking up at the moon his eye reflected some of the light, like a Cat's eye who looks directly at you at night, when there is just a little light. It was part of being bitten, His eyes did weird things. "I'm out here because the moon gives me strength Little One" backtracking a few steps he didn't really want to scare her.
Or did he? Finding a large rock Farkas sat himself down and looked out to the calm waters. They seemed so beautiful at night. It was a shame that htye produced such hateful creatures like Mermaids.Ajusting himself on the rock he brought his gaze back to the girl infront of him. something about her seemed off. Sniffing the air he noticed her smells wasn't quite right. Farkas was now starting to get hungry and seafood as looking pretty good.

Raksha smiled . He said the moon gave him strength? That sounded like a werewolf. She judged the distance between them and wondered weather or not she wanted to drench him with water from her tail. He probably would get pissed. She decided to. You mean you didn't come down here to swim, wolf? She raised an eyebrow and smiled. She tightened her muscles in her tail to prepare to bring a bucket load out of the water to hit him.
She paused to aim while still casually looking at the man. He didn't seem much older than twenty. She realized that she was a major cougar to go after guys that were mostly 340 years younger than her. The thought amused her. She decided to wait to throw the water at him. What if he was just a creepy human with weird eyes that liked the moon? No need to risk exposing herself. She studied him again watching his movements.

Hearing her words it almost caught him of guard. He gave her the subtle hint about who he was so she would be prepared. Not like the girl was fooling anyone She smelt of fish. That has to mean something.Shrugging it off he assumed it was because she was just laying in the water half covered. Farskas has a feeling that she was just givin by her smell, but people can disguise their faces, why not their smell? hes never seen it happen, but hey it might?
"No, I didn't" he answered her question darkness seeping into his words. Farkas scratched his shoulder. oh no, his change is starting. all be it slowly but its defiantly starting. Trying to hold it of he can manage another hour or so with out changing before it just takes him. Farkas had gotten very good at holding off his change, due to...circumstances that could be unforeseen. Watching the moon, it was getting higher in the sky.
watching her out of the corner of his eye, he could always tell when people were about to attack. he was a werewolf, he could smell it. Farkas saw her muscle tense and contract, he was about to do something, and it probably wasn't to his benefit.

Raksha frowned "No need to get all grumpy." She studied him and decide he was a werewolf. She smiled and released all of the tension she built up in her tail. A huge bucket load of water flew out of the water and headed right for the rock the man was sitting on. She said warningly"If you get all grumpy then you make people pissed at you." She left her tail above the water and waved at him with it, smiling devilishly.
She looked up at her fin admiring the way it looked in the moon. The moon. Werewolves changed during certain phases of the moon. Crap. She looked at the werewolf expecting to see a hairy beast with snarling fangs and a tail. Crap, what if splashing at him made him lose it and maul her in his furry monster form? Her smile disappeared and was replaced with wariness.

Farkas was out of the way before the water hit the rock. Being a werewolf came with certain perks. like speed. yeah he was fast. "I would say the same to you, lass" he said Farkas could feel his patience starting to wane, this girl was tiresome. But Farkas really didn't want to hurt her. Sometimes he could control himself while he was in beast form, but sometimes, it just wasn't going to happen. He'd become like a wild beast and slaughter anything in his path.
"You don't want to go down that road with me girl" he said his voice had an underlay to it. It sounded like remorse mixed with a hint of hunger. Scratching his shoulder again, he could feel the itch for a change. Considering Farkas wasn't upset maybe he can just change and not have to kill anything? I was a thought that crossed his mind many times. maybe eat a fish or 5 and he'd be right as rain. This girl probably wouldn't like him eating fish right in front of her, she might find that as an insult. So Farkas put food on the back burner.

Something about being called a child repeatedly ticked Raksha off. She flipped her tail down and got more than half of her body out of the water. Her tail disappeared and her legs replaced it. She stalked towards the werewolf her eyes sparking with anger. She said in an angry voice "You call me a child when I have been alive for over three hundred years? I have seen America become a country, both World Wars, and every other important event that has happened since then." Her eyes narrowed and she said dangerously "call me a child again and the next you go in the ocean you won't come back out." Her eyes told that she was dead serious on that. Sharks ate people a lot, one more wouldn't be suspicious.
She wasn't the least bit afraid about yelling at a werewolf that was probably changing. Her voice never rose to a yell though. She felt out to the sea life in the ocean and felt the mind of a shark. She asked it mentally to do her a small favor. She looked out and the shark soon burst out of the water close enough for her to hear the splash. Hopefully, the werewolf heard and saw it too. She looked back at the werewolf with an evil smile on her lips. She didn't know if she was scary or at least intimidating. She stood there with her hands on her hips glaring at the stupid werewolf that had insulted her.

Farkas grinned at her outbreak. "Yes, you may be old, but that doesn't mean that you're not a child" His revelation almost astonished himself. that was very philosophical for someone like him. He wasn't really one to think up crap like that. Stepping closer to her he looked at her his eyes had already changed. tey looked wolf-like. They saw everything. Farkas now knew that she was a mermaid. Yes they were very beautiful and their songs brought sailors to a watery grave.
Farkas turned his back on her and walked towards the forest edge that lined the beautiful beach. "Do you really think that a shark can best a werewolf?" he asked as he looked over his shoulder his teeth now forming and his face started to elongate.

Raksha swallowed her desire to stick her tongue out at him. That would only solidify his comment. When he walked away she followed him despite his eyes and other changes that were happening. She said quietly There are more dangerous things than sharks in the water. She thought of the giant squid that eluded every scientist that had searched for them. Dead bodies had been seen on the shore but that was the only proof that people had. She looked at him and took a step back to see better. When your face looks like that you look a bit like those poodles with their faces.
He looked more like a wolf but a poodle was more insulting than a wolf. She judged his body posture and face as she talked. She didn't want to be tackled or anything. She said warningly When you change your furry butt had better stay away from the sea life. The thought of him eating one of the beautiful little fish and silencing their minds forever was horrible. She turned away from him and walked slowly towards the ocean. She stopped when she got up to her knees. Her head was cocked back towards him to listen for the sound of paws or feet on the sand.
