"Aren't you just adorable, Daffodil?" Katarina cooed to her oh-so-precious flower, treating it as if it were a child. She had, in her right hand, a spray bottle, using it to dampen the soil that her little narcissus rested it. Her free left hand was being used to softly stroke the petals of the plant, as if she thought it a cat as well as a child. She stuck her nose into the bloom and inhaled, breathing in the sweet, earthy scent. She moved on to adore her white lilies, hugging the ceramic pot that they were planted in. Kat put her lips to the uppermost petal of one of the blooms to quickly kiss it, before standing back to admire her lovelies. "You know, my pretties, some people would say I'm really lonely to be talking to plants. But I love you all more; you don't question my intellectual ability." All of this was said with a smile, and it looked as if she was about to rupture in happiness at any moment.

Talking to your plants again Kat?" Trevor teased as he phased through the greenhouse's glass. He was careful to make sure he had stepped totally from the glass, or he'd get stuck, and that wouldn't be a good thing. His blue eyes looked to Katarina, a faerie who Trevor had made quick friends with when she had arrived. She was nice, interesting and unique, always making Trevor's day extra happy and warm. Walking up to her he placed a hand on the lily pot, turning the pot to look at the lilies that were planted within it. His eyes flickered from the pot to Kat "how long have you been here for?" he asked stopping the pot from spinning.
Taking a seat behind Kat on one of the stone benches within the greenhouse Trevor took in all the smells and sights. He didn't come here enough, it was actually very pretty.

Katarina looked up from her leafy plants, only to stick her tongue out at Trevor. "You're just jealous that they love me." She ran her fingers along the edge of the stem of one of the lilies, checking for any nonexistent imperfections. She'd often to do this to be extra cautious with the lives of her flowers--she'd be devastated if one were to die. Kat moved on to admire her cute little miniature watering can she used for the smaller plants, obnoxiously striped bright yellow and purple. At his question, she sighed briefly before responding: "An hour. Not long enough." She spent most of her time in the glass structure, anyway, being able to drag out conversations with her plants longer than most people would be able to do with humans. Kat continued on watering the rest of her flowers, aware of Trevor's presence behind her. Deciding to strike up a conversation, she pondered on what the wittiest thing to say would be. "So, how's life? Meet any cute vampires?" It probably wasn't the best thing she could've came up with, but she went with it anyway. She wasn't one for silence. "Did you grab a bite to eat?" The lame vampire puns only made her giggle at herself, but then she shut up when she realized that people who could take offense might be around.

Trevor smirked when Kat stuck out her tongue at him. His eyes watched as she inspected her plants and mini water can, she was such an odd girl, but a nice one who would do anything for anyone, she was sweet and Trevor did enjoy her company time and again. He averted his gaze as she started to water the plants he looked down at his hands before spotting a fallen leaf near the bench. Bending he picked it up, twirling it between his fingers as he spoke. "Not much, I hung out with Jacob for awhile, did some homework before deciding to come and find you" he shrugged. A smirk came to his features when she mentioned vampires "you know they creep me out" he added, it was true there were a few of them at Tolero, but Trevor always kept his distance.
He let a light laugh escape him when Kat made a horrible pun, he shook his head "ya know if you keep making jokes like that you might just get picked up by a talent agent" he teased keeping the leaf between his fingers. He looked up to Katarina once more, her back to him, his eyes settled at her back. He always wondered what her wings looked like, he had never seen them up close before, and he could never imagine what it would be like to have them. He took in her shape as his eyes studied her, she had a nice body, nice curves, he snapped himself out from his staring and cleared his throat. He couldn't gawk at Katarina, she was a friend and too nice for that. He looked away and out the glass at some students walking by before he remember he never answered her question about eating. "I had a cold sub, and a coke" he stated, his eyes remained on the students.

Katarina stood back, having finished her work. She grinned as she surveyed all of her handiwork, then moved over to find the little cardboard box she kept in between two of her flower pots. "Jacob. Nice guy. Maybe I can ask him to charge my iPhone." She chuckled at her own joke, referencing the fact that he was an electric elemental. Picking up her box, she turned around to walk over to the stone bench Trevor was sitting on, letting herself fall backwards on the vacant spot next to him. Resting her box on her lap, she stretched out her arms, sighing in pleasure. "I don't see why you don't like vampires; they're like the rest of us. But anyway, I've had a question: what happens when two phasers phase through each other?" It was a silly question, but it was one that she couldn't stop thinking about for the past day and a half. "A talent agent? Oh, you just wait." Kat had a certain lilt in her voice that carried over onto the light laughter that she allowed out of herself at that moment. She looked in the same general direction he seemed to be staring at outside, and caught her gaze on several students. Unknowing of what was so fascinating about them, she was about to ask, when one of the students caught her interest. It seemed to be another faerie, wings out in the open. They were eerie shades of green and gray, unlike her own, which were more similar to a Morpho butterfly's. Katarina was unaware that any other faeries were even attending the academy, and always felt just a bit alienated. A kind of wistful expression was worn on her face, a warm feeling filling her when she realized that she wasn't alone. She sighed and smiled as she twisted herself around to face forward once more, fiddling with the box that still remained on her lap.

Trevor smiled when Kat sat beside him, he gave a shrug of his shoulders to her comment on vampires. "They just creep me out.... but I know I have to get over it, we are in the same boat as them, against humans and what not..." he explained letting his voice trail off. His blue eyes went wide when Kat proposed the rather difficult question, Trevor wasn't sure, he gave a chuckle "not sure.... never met another one at Tolero, well there was a guy last year but he already graduated and I never talk with him" Trevor explained, now rather regretting he had never made friends with the senior Phaser.
Trevor noticed Kat when her gaze landed on the faire students just outside of the glass. He was glad there were others life her, surprisingly. When she turned to face forward again, he directed his eyes to her lap. A confused look came to his features "what's with the box?" he asked.

"Paper. Origami paper, to be more precise." She gave an enthusiastic smile as she pulled the lid off of the box, revealing a neat stack of square sheets within. Kat withdrew a single piece from the container, replacing the lid. She used the top of the box as a flat surface for her material, holding it in place between her legs. "You know, they say if you fold a thousand paper cranes, you'll be granted one wish." She said it lightheartedly, as if she took it more as a children's story than a sentimentality. Soft humming could be heard from her as she started to crease and recrease the paper, forming it into something that wasn't completely obvious yet. Her humming ceased when she'd decided she wanted to make conversation, as to avoid an awkward situation. Katarina herself could sit in comfortable silence, but she wasn't so sure about Trevor. "Phasers are really unique. I kind of wish I was one, instead of a faerie. Sure, I've got my little faerie rings and wings and such, but walking through walls? That must be great." Though she only meant it to be small talk, she was genuine in her comment, honestly a bit envious of his powers. She didn't look up from her work for a second, however–it was much too easy to mess up a fold if she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing.
