Take me to your best friend's house Go around this roundaboutOh yeah Take me to your best friend's house
Dallas walked from his dorm in his swim cloths. A speedo that was some what hugging to his body but dd not show off to much, a tank top that was to come off and his flip flops. His bag contained two towels and some diving sticks. He was not one for laps, gymnastics and dancing kept him in shape enough. He just liked the feeling of the cool water around him and the sensation of gliding through the water.
He opened the gym doors, seeing only a few other students. It was Saturday, around noon. Most kids would probably still be asleep or goofing off. The smell of sweat and bod odder hit him strongly as he walked past the treadmills, and the benches. He saw a few guys that could pull off the equipment. Just because you are male does not mean you automatically look good working out, most guys looked like they were in pain. Behind the benches was a door that led to the pool. It was dark inside, the lights being automatic with movement.Good no one is in here He thought as he walked in. He was not shy but sometimes swimming became uneasy when others people brains were screaming from fun and excitement.
Dallas walked over the the chairs, the place smelled of chlorine and well, chlorine. He sat his things down on a chair and stripped off his tank top. He was well off, medium mussel tone, v line, and light abbs. while he took of his flip flops, he opened his bag and pulled out 5 diving sticks. Throwing them all over in the water, the pool went up to 13feet, one of the sticks landing in its depths. He laid out a towel and placed his bag on the ground.
Dallas walked over to the edge that said seven feet. A nice place to start. He took a breath and jumped in. He sunk down, pushing off the ground once his feet reached the bottom. When his head was above the water he blew out his breath and slicked back his hair. He shook at the coolness of the water, it felt nice. He went one round with the diving sticks, three in one breath the fourth was in the ten foot water and the fifth was in the deepest part of the pool. He came up for one more breath and began his decent.

The streets are filled with Christmas cheerAt least it's only once a yearPerfect parcels tied with perfect bows,And carols ringing in my ear
Beth opened the clear doors to the pool, a whoosh of warm, chemical smell blowing her over. She took in a deep breath, closing her eyes and embracing the comforting feeling. She wasn't an obsessive swimmer, but it was a great form of exercise and entertainment when one was out of canvases to create into art. She had spent her last five dollars on muffins from the coffee shop. After she had gotten one last week she couldn't get enough. Perhaps her wish to go swimming was a way to compensate for those extra calories in her diet. Wouldn't want to loose my perfect body. she thought playfully to herself.
She wore a pleasant purple top with black pants and carried a bag in two fingers. The tile floor clicked under her black ankle boots. Beth literally had four pairs of shoes, her ankle boots, her sandals, her sneakers and her heels for special occasions. She wasn't a fashion freak but that wasn't the reason she had so little options. It was her money. She had no money except for what she earned and the small amount she got from the orphanage, and she really did get by. She knew that she should get a job, but she knew it'd be hard just to get one and well... she just didn't want one. Besides, she didn't need one. She could buy her way through school with the little money she earned from painting and she could join the rebellion right after. She didn't know HOW she'd find it, but she knew she would. Hopefully. Somehow...
She walked in and could see the shape of someone in the pool, diving for something she supposed. She walked to the closest beach chair and stripped off her shirt and pants quickly to reveal complimenting bikini. It wasn't one of those teeny tiny things that showed more cleavage than suit, but it did look nice. She stuffed her clothes in her bag and pulled off her shoes, lying them on the chair. She pulled out her towel and hung it over the chair's arm. That was right about when the swimmer came back to the surface and she saw it was Dallas. "Hey, Dallas." she greeted him, a slight smile coming to her face.
Oddly enough, she actually was quite happy to see him. He was nice to hang out with, as long as he stayed out of her head. She walked over to the steps into the water, the ones right at the shallow end. She wasn't one of those, jump in and get it over with kinda people. She touched the surface with her toes and a chill sparked her and she stepped back. Then took one step, two, three... "This is cold..." she complained, though it wasn't that bad Beth couldn't help but just sit on the steps and let her feet just get used to the water.
Bundled up against the cold Lines wherever gifts are sold

At first, she paid no notice to the other two occupants, nor did she care about the stifling odor of chlorine. Her focus was on herself, and at the moment, she was thinking about how great she was. Self-centered was Caitlyn's middle name (actually, it was Chase, but nevermind that). It was then that she realized that she wasn't alone, and she looked down at Beth and Dallas in disdain. Mostly Beth, actually–Dallas was a guy, and not a terribly unattractive one at that. With a quick wink, she peeled off the towel that was wrapped around her body, letting it fall to a crumpled heap on the ground. A far from modest bikini was revealed underneath, the majority of her flesh bare. Kicking off her flip flops, she eased herself into the pool. "Cold?" she said, sneering at Beth. The immediate area around Cait started to solidify until it completely froze over, leaving Caitlyn in her own little arctic circle. She leant back onto the ice, stretching out her arms. A sigh of pleasure escaped from her lips, allowing herself to enjoy the few seconds while they lasted. "So? Afraid of a little chill?"

Take me to your best friend's house Go around this roundaboutOh yeah Take me to your best friend's house
Dalls glided out of the water as another girl was stepping in. He stood up water running down his chest and dripping off his face. He smiled at Beth, about to say something but was distracted by the water freezing over. He looked to where it was originating from and saw it was Caitlyn. Dallas had history with supernatural history, she was a bitch and thought she was top shelf, but pretty non the less. He turned his body slightly toward her, the water begening to chill him.
"Well hello to the both of you, what are y'all doing here?" He said in his Texas twang. He was more or so looking at Beth, but Caitlyn was giving out this vibe of distaste, not toward him but toward beth. Beth had become a somewhat normality this past week, always saying hi to him after his detentions and always asking what was it that he did in there. He would always lie to her and tell her he would file things and then he would change the subject. She was somewhat becoming a friend, but he did not know her life story and had no reason to be fussing over Caitlyn. He could see the potential of beth being pissed off and rude but he was blocking her out.Plus cat fights are fun to watch, and in the water no less.... He saw how big the ring of ice was and took a seat on the edge of it to look to look at both the girls. This is gonna be intrestin He thought with a smile creeping on his face.

Sometimes these are so much deeper then they seem You'd rather cover up, I'd rather let them be I am in misery There ain't nobody who can comfort me, oh yeah
Beth turned to the sound of someone's voice. She seemed to somewhat recognize it but couldn't place it until she saw her. Her. Beth knew her, or at least-had heard of her. She narrowed her eyes slightly, showing her mistrust immediately with an obvious eye roll. Well look what the cat dragged in? she thought, not saying it because, well, she didn't exactly want to be even colder.
As the girl entered the water she felt even the water around her become colder. She didn't bother to object, her sole mind focused on Caitlyn and Dallas. She turned to Dallas as he greeted her in return but wasn't going to force a smile upon her face in that thing's presence. She asked if she was scared of a chill and she opened her eyes wide and sarcastically, "Oh, dear god no. Who is afraid of a little chill? It's just a mild temperature. I just find it a tab bit... agitating is all." she said, her voice dripping in sourly sweetness that stung her tongue.
Beth was not frightened of the cold, though she knew that Caitlyn knew that. Like she said, who was scared of the cold? But Beth was scared of almost nothing. Being a necromancer and seeing ghosts everywhere she went really helped her on that. She actually didn't think she was scared of anything... except for perhaps Freddie Kruger or Jason. Those were dude be to afraid of, not the movies but if an actual person like that came up to her, Beth'd be the first out of the room.
Besides all that, Caitlyn was just agitating, like the chill as she had attempted to point out. Nothing she was afraid of, nothing that could frighten her and most importantly, nothing she would ever be scared of. She was just an Ice Elemental with a serious ego and attitude problem that should be sorted out. By a professional. I can recommend you one, if you like... she thought, thinking of her psychotherapist when humans thought she was mentally ill when she was young for claiming ghosts were real. The orphanage had no problem with that, oh she said she heard a voice? Send her to the therapist. Oh? He said it passed through the wall? Send him to the therapist. Beth was sure Caitlyn would benefit a few sessions with Dr. Roberts.
Why won't you answer me? The silence is slowly killing me, oh yeah And now I'm gonna get you back I'm gonna get you back
